Matt Buckley’s adaptation of three wise monkeys from the Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil“.
The three monkeys are. Mizaru, who sees no evil, covering his eyes. Kikazaru, who hears no evil, covering his ears, and. Iwazaru, who speaks no evil, covering his mouth.
Each piece is traditionally sculpted from clay, then hand cast from their special blend of marble stone and hand painted, bringing each piece to life.
The workmanship is stunning, the creation is amazing and the result is a delight.
We have been selling these sculptures in shop for a few years now. They have a wow factor second to none.
We love to talk about them and watch how people light up when they walk in and see them. Some for the first time but repeat customers are just as happy when we get a new addition in shop.
